I'm Ruben Gariazzo, an engineering student at EPF in Paris since 2025. What drives me is high-performance engineering: Formula 1, motorsport, aerospace and space systems.

I like to hold a problem from both ends: model it, design it, code it, then test it against experiments and data. Mechanical design, simulation, programming, electronics, prototyping: this site shows where that has taken me.

Highlights

• Aerospace

  Icarus: nominal flight at C'Space 2026

  A mini-rocket designed, built and launched by a five-person team from EPF Astronomie at the C'Space campaign run by CNES and Planète Sciences. My part: the nose cone CAD, 3D-printed parts, stability simulations and the 3D animation in Blender.

• Research

  Three independent studies published on Zenodo

  On the quantum Zeno effect and DNA data storage (2026), the D'Agapeyeff cryptogram (2026) and the anharmonicity of a rocking cone (2025).

• Industry

  Quality and metrology internship at Ampere

  One month in 2026 in the cylinder-block machining shop of the Cléon plant (Renault Group), up to running the 3D metrology station on my own.

• Design

  Two everyday objects reimagined

  A telescopic watering can that waters up to 2.50 m without a ladder, and a latched jewelry box printed in 3D, in my first year at EPF.

• Computer science

  Harvard's CS50x and a Python game

  Harvard's introduction to computer science, tracked problem by problem on the CS50x page, and a drone rescue game playable in the browser.

• Writing

  Finalist, Grand Prix Poésie RATP 2025

  At 17, one of the 100 finalists of France's largest amateur poetry competition, with Danse sur les dunes, published by Éditions Bruno Doucey.
